On 8/30/2008 Berlin there took place at "Sportforum" already the 6th Mike Polley Fanturnier. Nobody could really to lacking words, because there took part 56 teams from the whole federal territory.

Our team of the Boxgym Coepenick took part for the first time in this tournament, of course everybody was curious very much as our boxers would "fight" there. Participants were Ronny and Dennis Gabel, Basti Wille, Lars Buchholz, promoter Frank Hogenkamp, coach Mike Wissenbach, Aki Krüger, Willy Plato, Karl as well as a big circle of friends of Basti and Mike.

Conditions found really lot gings in the best weather at 9 o'clock in the early morning, all teams, the mood with the teams was first-class and for the bodily welfare it was provided also well. There this tournament could become only a full success.

Our team offered excellent fights and could forge ahead till the semi-final. What struck to us to all very much was the big performance density which ruled among the last 8 participants. To the Halbfinals themselves one could only note, actually that all four teams played almost equally.

Then our Boxgym Coepenick team did not have, unfortunately, in spite of good performance in the semi-final any more the tiny bit luck which one needs to win such a tournament. After self-sacrificing fight and in spite of sensational player's performances the semi-final with scantiest of all results got lost, with 0:1. A consolation for our Köpenicker - they have lost against the later winner. At the end our footballers booked the excellent 4th field - and with the debut among 56 teams!

Playfully our team could be convincing really, now it is Ronny Gabel with his actions or the world class performance goalkeeper's Aki innkeeper, hence, it is almost impossible to emphasise single players with this mannschaftlichen unity.

This tournament showed that under the professional management of our captain Mike Wissenbach who earns his merits, otherwise, as a box trainer a unique team has grown together who was able to hit all the other teams. Unfortunately, there is sometimes not only enough the luck...

But it has given pleasure to all really, the relaxed atmosphere during the whole tournament contributed absolutely a large part to it. The motto of the day told To take part, so that also the fairness did not come under the teams too briefly. Thus all participants and guests about a pleasantly good and being tight, in the end, for our Boxgym Coepenick could be also glad successful football tournament.

For it we also want to thank the people responsible and organizers of this tournament - Jungs, you have done the really first-class.

And the cup - him is booked for the next spot quite firmly for us. Promised!!!

Hendrik Gabel - boxing and K1

Hendrik Gabel is to be seen immediately twice - in the 10/3/2008 within the scope of 8. Fightnight against Rene Frank and on 11/9/2008 with his K1 - title fight in the "Kontrast".

For Hendrik the title fight for the K1 crown is a big challenge, particularly as he is already a world champion in the professional boxing as an acting world champion GBC Intercontinental in the light heavy-weight.

However, the big challenge just consists in mastering the conversion of the boxing to the K1, nevertheless, boxing and K1 are two different pair of shoes, one must bring quite different conditions. However, we are sure everybody that Hendrik also masters this challenge with bravado, because just in the K1 he owns very best experiences and had to show already many results.

To emphasise is his extremely good training state, because he was optimally prepared by his trainers. This is valid, on the one hand, for the boxing where his champion's trainer Mike Wissenbach prepared him. Also, however, Hendrik could be prepared with the help of his K1-trainer and Thaibox-professional trainer Marco Weidlich very well for his K1-fight. We can assume from the fact that Hendrik is in very best physical and psychic constitution for his fights.

Of course we assume from the fact that Hendrik will win both fights, at least we keep to him the fingers crossed.

Four new professional femal boxers!

We are glad to be allowed to welcome four new professional box - débutantes in our Boxgym Coepenick who are looked by our successful trainer Mike Wissenbach. It concerns Sabrina Strasse around Josefine Lemke (on the left), Vanessa Victoria Pabst (crouching), Marie-Luise Spieler (on the right), as well as (not in the picture). Here the young ladies with her co-trainer Hendrik Gabel are to be seen. He will support them as a person responsible in the areas of Condition, running, fitness and food consultation.

Topical report - professional box and Thaiboxevening on 5/31/2008

Once again it was loaded to a box event of the IFKO. This time, besides, the event had to assert itself against strong "opponents". But in spite of highly summery temperatures, to a concert in the Wuhlheide and the international of our German Football Association choice a good 600 eager with box appeared in the old radio work to Coepenick. A high-class programme, very well occupied professional boxing matches – under it a title fight waited for them again. But this time also the lovers of the Asian combative sports art did not come too briefly.

Matzo Sandow versus Roy Meissner
In the first fight of the evening (Cruiser) more than four laps was up the local matador of the box Gym Coepenick Roy Meissner of the box Gym from Leipzig. The inhabitants of Leipzig already proved in the past that they can produce good fighters.
The second lap concluded, nevertheless, dictated matzo in particularly the first laps clearly, even with a knockdown by a hard liver hook. Then his forces gave the discount something, so that also the opponent could sit down in scene. Willy Plato versus Thomas Freitag

Marcel Erler versus Ronny Daunke
In the provisionally last professional boxing match were confronted in the Cruisergewicht Marcel Erler of the box Gym cent village and Ronny Daunke of the Leipzig guests. No stranger is latter here in Köpenick, nevertheless, he boxed in the last event against the local matadors Hendrik Gabel around the vacant title of the GBC. Though there he lost prematurely, however, it should become unequivocal in this fight less.
Marcel Erler had to go about the full distance, however, got the first three laps clearly. In the final lap he clearly diminished, so that Ronny Daunke could sit down once again in scene. Ferdinand Pilz versus Kevin Giese
Now after a short break it went on in the programme with the Far Eastern fight arts. In the first fight both promising young talents Ferdinand Pilz and Kevin Giese were confronted in a prestige fight free of evaluation. Because both are not of age yet, both still fought with the vorgeschiebenen leg protectors – this, however, very well. Both revealed an already impressing technology variety for your age. Tobias Kloss versus Denis Würdemann
In the next fight Tobias Kloss fought against Denis Würdemann in the middleweight about usual 3 x 2 minutes of laps. Besides, Tobias Kloss dominated all lap with his überlegenen physical constitution and, nevertheless, Denis Würdemann with big fighter's heart courageously defended himself. The very box-heavy fight style which seems to be, however, his strength was striking with Tobias. When he came through in the last lap shortly before the gong with his fist, nevertheless, Denis had to go once again to ground. He was able to do himself again aufrappeln, passed, however, in the clear win on points of Tobias no doubt.

Chris Jagusch versus Christian Pohle
In the fight following now was up, also in the middle weight, Chris Jagusch not unknown to the inclined box fan against Christian Pohle also coming from Leipzig to a comparison in the Thaiboxstil. Ersterer boxed with the past event against later still fighting Fernando Sarabia and, besides, achieved a draw. At that time I saw personally, however, the guest easily in front.
Also this spot was the guest as I see it the fighter better all together – the man from the blue corner kick already won the first lap during the storm attack. Again and again he put Chris in the ropes. Only at the end Chris of the pressure could escape something. From the second lap the fight became somewhat level, although blue further the initiative held. In the last lap the forces gave the discount with the guest something, so that now also Chris Jagusch could sit down in scene. Nevertheless, I saw in the sum the guest from Leipzig easily in front, above all because of his strong beginning. Nevertheless, the judgment was of Solomon on undecided (27:27).

Daniel Zimmermann versus Tobi Badura
Now in the last fight before the compulsory break were confronted in the Cruisergewicht the local matador Daniel Zimmermann of the bell-boy Gym Coepenick and Tobi Badura of the bell-boy Gym Leipzig. Ersterer could show up to now in his balance with the Far Eastern fight styles a spotless balance and wanted to continue this so. He had to take seriously his opponent, nevertheless, very much as he had to recognise in the first lap. However, from the second lap he put the clearer goals and won this lap masterfully. At the beginning of the last lap Tobi Badura threw once again everything forwards, however got to Daniel again fast the upper hand in this fight and boxed also the last lap certainly home. Therefore the unanimous judgment went in favour of the red corner kick also completely to order.

Falko Grütmaker versus Fernando Sarabia
The first fight after the break were denied by Falko Grütmaker and already mentioned Fernando Sarabia in the light heavy-weight. The man from the blue corner kick went to the fight like a rocket and pressed to his opponent with heavy leg goals. This could keep on account of these strong steps hardly on the legs and already went down in the first lap several times. These heavy goals did not remain no consequences – Falko could not continue the fight after the ring break on account of a knee injury any more. Good improvement at this point! But also without this injury was not to be overlooked the fact that he was demanded too much with aggressive and compact Fernando Sarabia massively. The exit of the fight would also have been thus no one else.

Kay Melone versus Ricky Hartung
In the last Asian fight of the evening were also confronted in the light heavy-weight Kay Melone and Ricky Hartung. Also this time fights were accepted the exotic box by the audience again very well. Maybe an exclusive event is organised for the friends of these martial arts once. It would be conceivable.

Ronny Gabel versus Steve Wünsch
Now after the exciting fights of the Far Eastern fight art it further went in the classical professional boxing. On this occasion, more than four set laps were confronted another protagonist of the fork family, this time of Ronny, and the débutant from Furstenwalde, Steve Wünsch, in the light middleweight. Quite optically was clear here the Faforitenrolle. This did justice to Ronny also in every regard. He worked on his opponent according to all rules of the art and it was evident that Steve to this strong fighter had not simply grown yet. Daniel Zell versus Tom Pudler
After this short intermezzo the acting German champion Daniel GBA Zell had his big appearance. Daniel can look after this fight optimistically forwards – then the next opponent may be more difficult quietly a number. But also Tom Pudler one must give respect. Though he was not yet quite ready for this strong opponent, however, he brings good boxerische arrangements and above all a healthy fighter's heart. Maybe we see him once more. With Daniel Zell one must almost be sure there. Now after a short break it could go in the main fight of the evening.

Main fight:
Rene Hübner versus Tino Fröhlich
In the main fight and title fight of the evening more than ten laps were confronted Rene Hübner, with the IFKO-Germany under contract, and Tino Fröhlich from Niesky in the Cruisergewicht to the international German championship after version of the GBA. Besides, Rene made clear already in the approach that he wants to be recommended about this national title again for international title fight. Condition on it was a persuasive performance against Tino Fröhlich not to be underestimated. This is known in particular for his special taker's qualities. Also Lars Buchholz could already convince himself in a fight against him of it. Nevertheless, the roles were distributed in this fight unambiguously in favour of the local matadors. Without kicking Tino too near – with his extremely pulled up trousers he looked a little bit shapeless, however, he should point later hardly for possibly held qualities.
First Rene kept waiting all box fans and official – only after some minutes he can be asked to the fight. Possibly he was not still really ready, because in the first lap he began first very much with restraint. Also the opponent cannot be lured yet from the reserve and hid behind a thick guard. Both spared from a compact guard hesitantly.
Also in the second lap Hübi could not form the fight yet so properly. The stubby figure of the opponent, as well as his excellent doubles guard offered him only little goal surface. Most of his hard hit fists bounced off somewhere in the guard of his opponent. Besides, this came through once again with his Jab with Hübi, because this often paused indecisively in the close distance without operating independently. The neglected footwork struck quite early with Hübi.
Then from the third lap Hübi properly gased and maltreated the guest from the blue corner kick with bad goals. Then sometime he also came through sometimes in the middle and immediately there gaped an extremely bleeding wound on the nasal back of Tino Fröhlich. Later this injury than nosebone break should turn out. The more one must certify to the man from Niesky near Dresden respect for his fight will. Other boxers have already despaired of this in the past. Nevertheless, he failed like already all boxers before him because of the already mentioned taker's qualities of his opponent.
Maybe something let itself unnerve Hübi by it, however, maybe he had even overexerted himself in these laps. In any case, he left from the seventh lap to his opponent again more air, this was of use to find back in the fight. One must accuse of this Rene at this point, because he built up he his before clearly controlled and groggy opponent by his Inaktivität virtually again. By his neglected defensive Tino also came over and over again with his Führhand to the head of Hübi. And also if this shook saying no the head over and over again and began counteractions – which counted goal!
Only in the ninth lap Hübi started to dominate the fight again what manifested itself now in the wound very bleeding once more with Tino Fröhlich. One saw clear that Hübi tried to defeat the opponent about his physical constitution prematurely. However, this defended itself tenaciously and with a lot of heart, also began over and over again to couter-attacks. One was already impressed as a viewer from the outside as this putative Underdog defended itself against physically clearly more robust Rene Hübner. In the last lap went both boxers on the whole. The fight became a little more squalid, because both had strongly diminished konditionell and the concentration got lost a little bit. Then, unfortunately, from a blind Infight situation it came to a point trigger for Hübi – I did not see certainly whether because of back of the head or Innenhandschlagens. In my opinion an admonition would have reached, because Tino had the head also deeply in the opponent. Hübi, so acidified, covered the man from the blue corner kick now with a blow hail. However, these clear goals also showed this time with the opponent not the expected effect.

The victory went after unanimous judgment in Hübi, however, this victory was not so spotless as expected before. In particular technical inadequacy was to be observed with him, above all in his guard work. It is never to be boxed absolutely simply against such a compact opponent, however, a good boxer must be able to tear open a compact guard about blow variations and tempo changes. Conversation with GBA manager Jörg Milcke

Hello Jörg Milcke, you are manager of the GBA, why was founded the GBA?

The GBA, the German Boxing association, was founded from a compulsion. This compulsion has a name - BDB, alliance of German professional boxers. This BDB has made in the past to smaller organizers the life difficult, he has tried to prevent that smaller federations carry out box events or build up, however, also good boxers.
As a result we decided to found the GBA. We wanted to reach with the fact that certain machination stops in the box business. It may not be that big box stables as for example the universe-box stable of Peter Kohl dictates the rules as in Germany box events are to be carried out. Hence, it is a matter of preventing that big organizers suppress the little ones, upon them her rules allow to force or not at all only come up them.
But the construction of own good boxers is hardly possible, particularly as this shows also a cost question. As is known big box events are connected with high costs which cannot amortise, nevertheless when the BDB prevents certain boxing matches how it has already seemed in the past.

So one can hardly talk of good cooperation with the BDB?

Just it is, although we feel recently an improvement. We could recognise the first four years of our existence no acceptance on the part of the BDB. Only when our events became more and more numerous, bigger and more successful, we got in the visor of the BDB. Now we were a competition and that it was a matter, not at all only of letting come up. Now we also felt the repressive measures which happen up to open attacks on us, how this year, culminated.

Can they become concrete there?

Of course, recently the BDB board of directors Bodo Eckmann called the main headquarters of the IBF, to the second largest box federation of the world in to prevent certain fights of the GBA and to damage to our federation. Another example is the case of our champion Yakub Saglam, German champion in the heavyweight to GBA, this was obliged to acquire a licence of the BDB to be allowed to follow generally his occupation as a boxer. Nevertheless, this is probably a cheek, because vice versa boxers of the BDB may box without problems with us. Who is interested in this case, can pursue this process on our homepage (www.boxgba.de). However, these attacks from our way did not let us dissuade, on the contrary, we have arisen from it.

To what extent?

In the meantime, we have succeeded in persuading many BDB boxers in boxing also in events of our federation. This was forbidden to them before explicitly by the BDB. They must also acquire no licence GBA to box with us.

What distinguishes the GBA still from the BDB?

We have for the most part German box talents which we want to lead in the point. These are built up with us from the outset, they learn the boxing with us, progress with us and gain her results with us. Differently with the BDB many box talents are got there from abroad, mainly from East Europe. Another difference exists, for example, in the internal organisation of our federation. With us it is usual by decisions of the management that every board member must be present personally, but no decisions are made. Differently with the BDB, there it is possible to carry out voice transference. This opens of course door and goal for possible fiddlings.

Mr. Milcke, when was founded the GBA and what gives to report it about them?

Now the GBA exists in the fifth year, nevertheless, in this time we could set up quite rather substantially. In 2007 we carried out 37 events, this were more than the BDB managed. At the moment we own 438 members, however, this membership is constantly rising. Our Internet presence is to be found under www.boxgba.de, there one can further find out about our federation. In our federation dozens box stables work together, our boxers are examined by certified trainers and seconds, for example, Mike Wissenbach, Michael Petermann or, however, Peter Pelk.

The last GBA meeting decided some innovations what is there to inform there?

Properly, we came to the decision to found a department for kick and Thaiboxen as well as K1 within the GBA. Sporty leader in this area will be Hendrik Gabel. He is predestined just by his vita for this post, because he has to register himself many fight results in this area. Hendrik will look together with Lars Buchholz after the amateur area as well as after professional area and also train.

Why this decision?

It has appeared in our past events that a big interest insists on the part of the spectators on visiting mix events from professional boxing and Thai or kick boxing as well as K1. Thai-, kick boxing as well as K1 takes pleasure to immense popularity, because it became known by the television and is very spectacular. We follow with our decision also the wish of the audience to carry out such mix events. There will be in future like with the boxing Germans as well as international championships.

How does it look here with talents?

There I can emphasise, for example, the Boxgym Köpenick, because here good work is performed for a long time to give the possibility to young fighters, to prove her talent in big events. It has appeared that we have at disposal a big contingent in gifted fighters who will make talking absolutely in future still from themselves. These are examined very well, are optimally built up for future challenges and have after statements of the trainers very good chances to gain in future international titles. However, particularly is also to be emphasised that a lot of girls and women show interest in this sport that the rising member's figures prove to us with the female fighters.

Mr. Milcke which results have to show the boxers of the GBA then?

We can be very proud, because we have to show many national as well as international results. I want to call here only some, there would be possibly Zapir Gereew, Rene Mahling as well as Bihes Barakat which are all acting IBF junior world champion. Furthermore both WBC junior world champion's title which were won by Zapir Gerew and Sebastian Wille are to be mentioned absolutely. But also Robert Rolle who could win the first IBF East & western European championship title as a member GBA should not remain disregarded. In our rows stand furthermore several world champions GBC as well as German champions of the most different federations.

Impressively what is planned soon with the GBA?

Thank you, first is represented the GBA with the IBF congress which will take place of 26. to 5/31/2008 in Hamburg. Our board of directors as well as referee and federation doctors will take part in it, several trainings are carried out. In short, we will still intensify the cooperation with the IBF. In 2008 we plan to organise in any case more events than this was in 2007 the case. Thus there will be possibly in the 10/4/2008 a big event in Bautzen which will be transferred by eurosport. Pelk doctorate plans there under supervision of the GBA to let fight the „German oak“ Timo Hoffmann. Then this will be the first appearance of Timo Hoffmann for the GBA. Furthermore an IBF fight is under discussion, one can receive closer information about it later on the Internet.

Mr. Milcke which targets would still like to reach them with the GBA?

There is something, we want to become, on the one hand, a box federation approved internationally as well as nationwide. There is still need to catch up. Although we already had many fights at home and abroad, for example, in Belgium, Italy, France, Holland or Turkey there are still problems with the EBU, the European box federation. Unfortunately, this still refuses to work together with our federation. Now here has created the IBF a new European champion's title which can be seen as an attack on the EBU. We as a GBA see of course with interest, we can take part in this championship (Robert Rolle has become here a European champion). Maybe this conflict makes between the EBU and the IBF erstere, finally act co-operative and discriminate against us not further.
I see another finish of course in the stronger marketing our boxer, in addition the television can make a big contribution. Only who is seen, can become known! In addition we have done with the cooperation with eurosport the first step. Nevertheless, finish can only be to bind us in the long term to a known television broadcasting station.
Furthermore we hope of course for rising memberships, because only one numerically strong federation can be involved in the big deal and put through his plans.
And at last we also want to offer in the future many interesting and spectacular events which should move the audience into enthusiasm.
We know, there still is a lot to act, however, we are on a good way.

Interview with professional box trainer Mike Wissenbach

Hello Mike, you are the coach of the IFKO, among the rest, you look after the main actor of the fight evening, Rene Hübner, how did you get into contact with the box sport?

Already very early, at the age of not even 6 years. My father was a boxer, there it was obvious that my brothers and I, we are, by the way, triplet's brothers, to us with the TSV Rudow the first spores in the boxing earned.

Were you successful?

Of course, because I could also gain big results, I was, for example, a North German and Berlin champion as well as German amateur runner-up. In my junior time I came on more than 90 amateur fights, could change at the age of 18 years fight-experienced in the professional camp. Nevertheless, occasionally I still concluded successfully my apprenticeship, I learnt retail trade businessman in the jewellery branch and watch branch. Then it further went in the professional boxing, also here I could well "fight the way", because I became 1987 German champions in the Really middleweight.

Hats off, but why did you become a box trainer?

Boxing was and is my life, one can hard get away from it, and what lies closer to become a box trainer after the active time? Moreover, I get by very well with young people, they respect me and I can transmit my knowledge about the box sport to the youth. What can there be the nicer?

If we simply speak of your results as a trainer!

Here some are probably already to be called, before my time with IFKO I looked after Danny Thiele, he became a world champion WBB, also Emanuel Ossie, this could gain, in addition, still the European champion's title. With the IFKO we have the German champions Daniel Zell and Lars Buchholz, I look after the Intercontinental world champion Hendrik fork and GBU-as well as world champion GBC Rene Hübner. Nevertheless, my biggest trainer's success was the junior world championship of the WBC of Sebastian Wille.

You have a very friendly relation to your boxers where do you see her strengths?

I believe, all my boxers have one – a big talent. Only it is also worthwhile to work hard, only the boxers have the makings of the point! However, it is a hard way upwards, I know from experience. A condition for this are a permanent support and a good management. Not to forget the financial support , for example, by sponsors, in it is still often absent it.

And what would still like you to reach with your boxers?

What does want a box trainer? Of course title for his Schützlinge! But not some, but the approved professional titles in the senior citizen's area. I dream there particularly of the federations WBC, WBA and IBF! However, for me it is as significant that my boxers can live on the sport that they stand good financially, so that her head becomes free for the most important, the boxing.

You are for a long time with the IFKO, since when and why?

Is right, since 2005. Well, why, this is easy to answer because the people are correct here. We are a very good team, get on simply admirably. Here the human is also seen. And one likes me particularly that here so many young people are promoted. And one may not forget, except Rene Hübner all boxers are without amateur career what can be without doubt a disadvantage. This requires a far higher trainer, however, also training performance, one has other conditions. However, in it I see just the challenge!

Would like you to tell us something to your private sphere?

Yes, I am soon happily married 25 years with my dear Mrs. Conny, have two wonderful children Angelina and Jennifer what does one want more? In July we celebrate silver wedding!!! Briefly, I lead a happy private life. Yes, and hobbies? Nevertheless, also there it is nice that my occupation is at the same time my hobby – the boxing.

Now still a short statement by the fight evening!

Rene Hübner becomes an international German champion in the Cruisergewicht, moreover, I count on victories of my other Schützlinge.

Interview with professional boxer Rene Hübner

Hi Hübi, you`re on the main fight of the evening, how did you come, actually, to the boxing?

As a 7-year-old toddler I began with the judo, was twice a district champion, won several tournaments and won, at least, the blue belt. Because my father Boxer was with the ASK, I went later double-tracked, so boxing and judo, from 14 I decided to box only.

Can you report to us something about your results as an amateur?

Here I could also gain massively results, according to Spartakiadesiege and district championship title. With the senior citizens it went on successfully, I became a land champion, fought in the national league for Frankfurt / Or and could be glad about tournament victories, e.g., in Poland, Belgium or Czechia.

How did your professional existence begin?

Since 2000 I am in the professional business which I underestimated in the beginning, nevertheless, something. From it I had to draw fast the conclusions – even more train and show an unconditional ambition! The result is, now I was under the top 100 of the world!

And how does it stand your results in the professional camp?

In 2006 I became a world champion GBC in the Cruisergewicht, in 2007 it further went with the interim world champion's title GBC and the profit of the world championship GBU, also in the Cruisergewicht. For the fight evening on the 31st of May concerns, I hope very much to win the fight for the international German championship.

Hübi which targets you have for the next time?

I absolutely want to get the German championship title, because only I can overshoot really anew. Then I will pass a row construction fights and win this hopefully also to come then to the big opponents and fights. I want to box, finally, internationally and be successful!

You could have boxed everywhere, why just with the IFKO-Germany and since when you are here?

Here in Köpenick the complete sphere simply is right – I have a top trainer, the care for us boxer is excellent, our Boxgym is not to be topped and - also very importantly – the management is right! Now I am since 2007 with the IFKO and very contently.

What can you report to us about the private individual Rene Hübner?

I enjoy my private life, because I live for 6 years happily in a respect with my lifelong companion Jeannette and my accepted daughter Eve Chantalle. Not to forget well, and of course my biggest hobby, the motorcycle driving!

Hübi, the last statement still to the upcoming title fight?

This fight becomes very important for me, because there is only one German champion – and him I want to be! This victory should lay the foundation-stone for more – for an international title! I am already glad about the coming opponents, I am ready!

3/29/2008, box evening with the BOX-GYM in the radio work Coepenick

And again a box event of the IFKO took place in the old radio work to Coepenick. Actually, the evening should take place in the generator hall in the sports forum, however, the main fight with Rene Hübner burst because of an injury. Therefore the organizers were to be moved constrainedly this event home in the old radio work.

More than 1100 box fans still came again to have a look at 12 fights and they should not be disappointed. The organizer could immediately serve some innovations. Thus there were in the VIP area nice ladies who served the drinks cooled to the guests and there was a new box notebook „in the ring“ which of all sides very much was promised.

An enrichment to the boxing are the Thai fights always. The spectators accepted this fight very well. This part of the evening should be absolutely maintained. The box evenings are absolutely already one of the first addresses, not only in Berlin. By the Thaikämpfe the events in the old radio work become also more interesting. New spectators are thereby pulled, in any case. But now in detail to the fights:

Ronny Gabel versus Willi Plato
Because the intended opponent of Ronny Gabel Denis Roon did not enter, however, Ronny could get at least in a demo fight against Willi Plato Kampfpraxis who remained without evaluation, however.

Ronny Mittag versus Markus Senf
On the part of the opponent's announced revenge was also missing in this back fight – Ronny Mittag left open any sporty questions at no time . He dominated the fight over set 6 laps with überlegener physical constitution and left no air to the breathing to his opponent. After Ronny Mittag had already decided the first both laps clearly for himself, the third lap became a triumph of his superiority. Shortly before the gong he was able to do his opponent ausknocken and the fight was broken off after officially 2:55 minutes after KO.

Hendrik Gabel versus Ronny Daunke
In the first main fight of the evening Hendrik Gabel wanted to prove against Ronny Daunke that he does not belong o means yet to the old iron. It was about the vacant title GBC. Thus the fight about whole 12 laps about which it should not go, nevertheless, as expected was attached. It was still felt itself in the first lap of both boxers, it went in second already so properly to the thing. After Hendrik Gabel could put a hard liver hook, his opponent Ronny Daunke the first time went down and became angezählt. Nevertheless, he heaved himself out once again on, nevertheless, collected few seconds ago a renewed heavy body goal, so that the fight was finished after 1:22 minutes in the second lap with KO victory for Hendrik Gabel.

Christoffer Jagusch versus Fernando Sarabia
Then after a small refreshment break it went in the big Thai box lap. As everybody knows, all Thaibox fights are attached regularly about 3 x 3min. The first fight denied Christoffer Jagusch and Fernando Sarabia in the middle weight. Both gave to themselves nothing, it was an open exchange. I would have seen in my subjective judgment Sarabia easily in front, but this is just a view thing. The judges gave the draw of Solomon.

Dino Kaspritzki versus Felix
In the next Thai fight were confronted dino Kaspritzki and Felix in the ring corner kicks. After to himself both fighters "beschnupperten", Felix dominated from the 2nd lap this fight and to himself dino Kaspritzki never surrendered and tried over and over again to meet his opponent, however, the inhabitant of Bremen Felix was technically better, used the fists, as well as his legs cleverly. Kaspritzki tried to impress above all with the fists. Here the man from the blue corner kick Felix asserted himself after good fight after points.

Aki innkeeper versus Chris
The next fight was held in the popular K1 between the local matador Aki innkeeper and Chris. Both fighters made alternately the fight and Chris dominated rather the Infight and was more actual Aki rather in the distance. Unfortunately, nevertheless, in the third lap injured itself Aki, so that the fight with a technical draw was evaluated. Dennis Pennecke versus Deniz Zengin
In the next Fight it was again about a winner in the Thai, Dennis Pennecke and Deniz Zengin from Bremen were confronted in the light heavy-weight. Kay Melone versus Frank Bosma
The last Thai boxing match brought together once again two fighters from the light heavy-weight: Kay Melone and. Frank Bosma also from Bremen. Both also wasted no time with feel and provided themselves from beginning to an absorbing fight. While the first lap was still surely balanced, Kay from the second lap could sit down better and better in scene. In particular by his sequential throw inserts he could persuade the judges of himself. He was presumably the thai most boxing fighter of the whole evening and got deservingly the win on points.

All together K1-and Thai box fights were accepted by the audience very well. The combative sports directions should also show in future an enrichment and loosening of the box evening.

Marc Wischniwski versus Varol Vekiloglu
Now after this gala dress of the Far Eastern martial arts it further went in the classical boxing. Now in the Cruiser weight were confronted Marc Wischniwski and Varol Vekiloglu for 4 set laps. The first lap was balanced for both fighters still very much. While Varol some more active ones of the both was, Marc could land some very good body goals. Both fighters very immediately distributed also form the second lap, however, Marc diminishes something at the end of the lap there. In the third lap Varol Vekiloglu goes purposefully his way, the end sniffing the air. Now the condition of Marc Wischniwski decreases on and on, so that now Varol dictates almost unhindered the fight. Hence, by the end of the third lap the ring physio of Marc breaks off the fight because of clear inferiority of his fighter. All together Varol Vekiloglu konditionell looked stronger, but also in the boxerischen arrangement riper than his opponent.

Sebastian Wille versus Rashad Karimov
Now another highlight of the evening followed in the form of a construction fight of the acting WBC juniors of world champion Sebastian will against the famously strong Rashad Karimov in the light heavy-weight more than 8 laps. The latter could defeat Senol Cente after points within the scope of the last box gala dress clearly, so that his qualities stood except question. And, nevertheless, Sebastian might not be impressed of it, this fight should be only the preliminary stage in title defence in autumn, nevertheless.

Both wasted no time with feeling and made tempo. Both were agil on the legs, Basti could avoid by his prominent defensive technology one around the other spot the goals of the opponent who tried to put under pressure him physically. And it was to be torn open over and over again in the situation the guard by Rashad. He tried to find over and over again about his physical robustness back in the fight, paid, however, the manuscript of the trainer's Mike Wissenbach to himself here over and over again. The upper part of the body work of his Schützlinge is impressive over and over again. Even from the hopelessly most seeming situations can escape Basti anyhow. Besides, it is a condition miracle for me over and over again. He seems to decrease from beginning till the end not in the least and almost still looks so fit in the last laps and agil like in the first one. This is absolutely quite a big advantage for Basti which he knows to use better and better.

Thus Rashad nothing at all other is left, than to throw everything in the Wagschale in the last lap once again. After some collected goals, Basti can put straight the world with a few quick goals again. Now Rashad is clearly drawn, bleeds from the nose. All the more it is to be credited to him that he tries once again everything in the last seconds of the fight. Basti must collect here shortly before end once again heavy goals which he gets over, nevertheless, regardless of. Thus the unanimous win on points stands after this great fight for Sebastian except question. It is a joy over and over again to see fighting this boy. One will wish him all the best for the future – maybe a big future is granted to him. However, in addition he can give to himself safely still time.

Lars Buchholz versus Steve Krökel
Now in the second main fight of the evening it went around a lot. Thus applied the Intercontinental world champion GBC in the light heavy-weight Lars Buchholz and Steve Krökel around the vacant title of the German champion in the light heavy-weight after version of the GBA, set more than 10 laps. If Lars Buchholz came to his last title still almost like the virgin to the child, he could prepare for this championship , nevertheless, a little more intensely. Besides, agreed the skilled box audience that his opponent was absolutely to be estimated as very fight-strong.

And Steve Krökel showed to all that this appraisal was right. He is a similarly tactical boxer like Lars and does not meet this with it of course. But it is also no secret that Lars always needs some time to find in the fight. This is simply his boxerische mentality, he studies his opponent and works the Selbsvertrauen.

Then from the fourth lap he was so far, Lars tore the fight and scored solidly. Besides, he could avoid the attacks of his opponent over and over again cleverly. Then two laps Steve was drawn later already in the face and Lars did not make the impression, as that he would decrease in his efforts. He divided to himself his forces cleverly, and remained high concentrated thus up to the end. In lap seven the referee interrupts the fighters and admonishes Steve Krökel because of Inhandschlagens. The referee got for it one of Lars on the nose, because he could not brake his counterattack any more. However, the impartial proved taker's qualities and after a short ocular role and shaking of the head he released the fight again. From there neglected he, however, his guard not more so terribly ;-). The lap went therefore clearly to Lars who could develop his point projection with it after laps.

Also lap eight could decide Lars clearly for itself and thus was aware to all that Steve would have to go now on the whole, he wanted to tear in this fight something else. He tried this now with all means available to him and he put under pressure Lars severely. He stayed behind to his opponent, however, nothing guilty and countered impressively. Then in the last lap the forces decreased with Steve Krökel, so that he got a booking after renewed impurity. To come in the certainty, now only about a KO to the title, he put in the last seconds of the fight once again everything on a card. However, Lars could escape again exemplarily and put on with a blow series even the crown.

In the unanimous victory after points there was therefore absolutely nothing to deuteln and Lars Buchholz now German champion can dress up with the title in the light heavy-weight after version of the GBA. Lars had to lay down the title GBC, because he has a higher valency than the German championship. This notes only on the edge. A good 1100 spectators celebrated the local matador solemnly and also the opponent got the respect being due to him. Thus a high-class box evening came to an end with a worthy end.

Topical report - boxing on the 12th of January, 2008

Beforehand: For the working-partly prevented R.L. I make sometimes today on behalf the wall newspaper editor.

On the yesterday's day invited the IFKO - Germany once again to a very promising box event. Climaxes should be the preparatory fight of Juliane Koffnit around the German championship in March, 2008, as well as the main fight of Hendrik Gabel around the world championship crown of the GBC. Both fights did not take place, so unfortunately what has different causes.

First to Jule: Unfortunately, the potential opponent Tatiana Dieckmann has owned the cheek with unbelievable 10 kg! To appear overweight with the official cradle. This is in my eyes a blow in the face towards Jule who prepared fairly long time for this fight. And 10 kg one does not scoff himself just thus with the vespers sometimes in. I hope that here also the federation has sometimes his eyes openly.

And also Hendrik Gabel overtook the bad luck, unfortunately, in other form. Thus he injured himself with the sparring in the week in the rib, so that the doctor gave no fight recommendation. Understandably and also rationally, even if a great pity ones. But to anticipate already around it - the main fight took place, only with another protagonist. But later more.

Unfortunately, first I must admit that I have wasted the first both fights - cinder on my head. Hence, the information about these both fights as a second utilisation of already present people. The hall was filled again very well, one sees that the Berlin audience accepts these events.

In the first fight Daniel Zell fought against Denis Roon about set six laps (welterweight). Finally, about this it did not go - Daniel won in lap 3 after TKO. This is clear - there is not to say any more.

Fight 2: Rashad Karimov had with Senol Cente in the light heavy-weight a very strong opponent. However, all persons present agreed that the defeat on points went for Cente after four laps, in the end, fully to order.

Then to the third fight I came just on time reingeschneit, so that I could experience the clear win on points of Ronny Mittag against Markus Senf more than six set laps (superwelterweight) live. The latter was drawn by the goals quite hard, however, it is to be credited to him that he struggled through up to the end. Or differently expressed - Ronny was still absent certain something to decide the fight prematurely in his favours. However, in the unequivocal evaluation for Ronny Mittag there was according to appropriate opinion to put out absolutely nothing. One should keep an eye on his way.

Now after the break should take place, actually, the set preparatory fight championship of Jule Koffnit who could not take place - as already on top explained - on account of the overweight of the opponent, unfortunately. To give the opportunity to Jule, nevertheless to present itself also once more before audience, a club-internal sparring about 3 times 2 minutes was fixed without further ado against Steffi Mayer which flowed in a draw of Solomon. Positively is to be reported that the skilled audience brought to both young ladies the deserving respect.

Now in the fifth fight more than 5 laps 'a started Christopher Jagusch of the Body-Gym against Dennis Tennelke of the Meos-Gym in the K1 2 minutes mutually. Here a physical superiority Tennelkes stood out fast towards Christopher, so that the clear win on points left open Tennelkes also no questions. However, to me personally did not like, that to provoke Tennelke his superiority in addition used by gestures his opponent and to mock. I mean, a good fighter does not need such a thing. One also proves to an inferior opponent his respect and leaves him his dignity. My opinion. Otherwise, however, a worth seeing fight.

In the fight 6 Rene "Hübi" was allowed to do Hübner against Gert Span of the Dutch group come on (Cruisergewicht). This fight was attached more than six laps, nevertheless, did not experience the first gong any more. The fight began surely level - both boxers at no bad level were technical. However, then Hübi could bring his steam hammer to the application - it was a crash substantially in the frame. Even before himself the young Dutchman was able to do again aufrappeln, the towel from the corner kick - a healthwise sensible decision already flew. Fact is - Hübi needs a gun licence for his blow hand.

In the next fight were confronted Azad Azizov and Leonard Stotijn, also from the Dutch guests, for 8 laps (HW). I liked Azad very well - work from a sure guard, big mobility, good fight intelligence. On feeling in the first lap with light advantages for Azad he took over from the second lap the entire excrement role and dotted spot around spot. He could have formed according to my opinion, nevertheless, the fight even more clearly, here and there Azad something worked to playful. The trainer probably saw also this thus and thus he got cracking from the third lap like the fire brigade. After a blow thunderstorm of Azad the Dutchman collected a heavy body goal and snapped away. The towel flew and the thing was in the box. A clear and deserving victory. Many are of the opinion that Azad is so slowly ripe for a stronger opponent.

Now, however, to the fight of the evening. As already mentioned, an injury prevented starting of Hendrik Gabel, so that at short notice a decision had to be made. And thus one can be an only full respect towards Lars Bucholz who gave so at short notice a fight assent. Besides, one may not forget that it was, besides, about a fight more than 12 laps against as very very approximated Stan Jonsen. And without special preparation.

Because Lars no big opportunity had to study the opponent, he had to act in the fight. Hence, he began very carefully from the distance and one noticed like he tried to learn the opponent. On account of the a little higher activity Jonsens one can give this first abbot branch lap to this absolutely. But already from the second lap Lars came better and better to the fight, now he had the right distance, held the guard on top and countered cleverly.

Then from the fourth lap the sheet started to turn more and more in the direction of Lars. Now he also had the necessary self-confidence to be able to hit this opponent and to want. He controlled the fight cleverly from the defensive, put goal around goal, offered himself, however, virtually no goal surface. He was movable on the legs, cannot be put in the ropes and scored over and over again by raid-like combinations. It is typical that one not even succeeded Jonsen during the whole fight in landing a heavy goal with Lars! This is in particular a compliment to Lars, because Jonsen was anything but a light opponent. He marched perpetually and tried spot around spot his absolutely available weight of punch in the Wagschale to throw. Also the call of a good "taker" hurries ahead of him what one could confirm so also. Thus he was drawn from some blow combinations of Lars in the face, in particular his nose shone like a red lampion. However, besides, he did not wobble, although him thus some blow combinations of Lars shook thoroughly substantially. And thus Lars Runde got around lap.

In the last lap Stan Jonsen tried once again everything to cause a knockout. Every skilled box fan knew how to evaluate this immediately as a defeat admission. But Lars was not surprised - on the contrary, he put straight the world with a few nice combinations again. With it the thing had run finally. Lars was an unanimous winner on points and now may be called Intercontinental - world champion after version of the GBC in the light heavy-weight!

Crowning end of a successful box evening.

And after the fight was before the fight - the victory was celebrated then substantially and I had to visit the opportunity the training facilities of the Box-Gym. Besides, one is also mentioned sometimes that there except with the boxers in the professional area also and maybe just in the promising work excellent is performed. Thus I might get to know some interesting people and see the nearly informal atmosphere in the Box-Gym. One can wish only a lot of success at the other work boys there.

Anyway it is worked there already on the next event and without reaching too much beforehand - one may be curious on it already very much!

Topical report - 7th fight Night

German champion Daniel Zell

One may forgive me, however, I would like to begin this spot with the main fight. Daniel Zell against Tim Ruchholz. Ten laps were attached and the fight went about the full distance.

This fight was balanced by lap from one to ten in the essentials and was fought hard. Daniel Zell made the difference, he boxed very much self-controlledly and could put good goals over and over again. Above all when Tim Ruchholz marched forward and was Daniel Zell in the reverse gear. Zell was about the laps seen the more active boxer. Ruchholz could place absolutely also very good goals, however, many blows also banged on the guard Zell `see what sounded for the audience spectacularly.
Dangerously for Daniel Zell it became over and over again if Tim Ruchholz darted according to raid at Zell and kindled a blow whirl, however, Zell could turn over and over again out, make way and hit itself. Conspicuously also that Daniel Zell went over and over again well what was absent with Ruchholz. Both boxers remained dangerous up to the end and had to pay attention damn not to have to pocket determining goals still. A big and above all good fight which was properly decided, but for my concepts was scarce. Zell boxed self-controlledly, controls and just successfully and this more than ten laps. Ruchholz against it had over and over again very good scenes, but also often breaks where he operated too passively.
Daniel Zell is a deserving German champion – congratulations.

If we come now to the rest of the evening. Wow, 1300 box fans in the old radio work, hats off! However, what distinguished the present events, the punctuality, was in this evening shining wastepaper. Because the prescribed ambulance was clearly late, the fights could not begin. Then with 1.5-hour delay it went off. The organizer apologised, even if the guilt is not to be searched at the box club.

The 1st fight was already finished after 38 seconds. Tom Müller defeated Miroslav Vymislicky by job. The usually fight-strong Czech injured himself in the shoulder. Get well soon.

In the 2nd fight of the evening the public darling Lar Buchholz and Sven Haselhuhn met. Also this fight went more than six laps. For my concepts, the victory was rather flattering for book wood, I saw two level fighters, without advantages for one or other. A draw would have been right for me. It was an open exchange about all laps. Lars Buchholz never found so properly the gap in the guard of hazel hen. From the 5th lap Lars Buchholz opened his guard and thereby had to take quite a lot of goal. This was not Lars Buchholz as one could get to know him in the other fights.

Fight number three was one of the quicker fights again. Robert Rolle won after 2.53 minutes by job against Roman Horvath. From second one in, this was an unequal fight. Yesterday, however, he pointed already more what he is able to do. However, also his opponent, was not without, pocketed a lot and put away it as if nothing was. In lap five then the moment for Erler where it did not look well around Hübner Erler hit several times and intensely on Hübner which had lost the overview in this lap. One saw the result of that, a bleeding cut under the eye of Rene Hübner. The victory was still earned by Hübner and was entitled.

Then it was to 0 o'clock, there approached the fight for the German championship as at the beginning of the report mentions.

It was again a very successful evening in Köpenick and nobody the breakdown should even mention in the takeoff at the beginning, this can simply happen. The organizers have done a good job again and 1300 fans speak own language.

Showdown - 6th fight Night

Lars Buchholz made the fight of the evening

Would have this believed somebody? At that time the box club of Köpenick was still smiled for his plan and now the 6th fight Night already took place. For it congratulations to the box club of Köpenick.

The box fans in the well full box club expected eleven fights in this evening. The evening was organised like the times before very well and contrasts by the additional states and additional services, nevertheless, worth mentioning with the previous fight Nights. This may and estimate the fans.

Now to the sport. Then from eleven announced fights only nine fights took place. The opponent of Hendrik Gabel, did not enter only at all and the opponent of Sebastian Wille, Steve Kröckel, went to scale at too many kilos. But nine fights of the evening were worth a visit, nevertheless.

To the fights

In the first fight Ronny Gabel who was active before in the Muay Thai gave his box debut against the cutie Enrico Knisch of the Berlin box temple. Enrico Knisch played his whole box routine in this fight and won this fight thereby, even if scarcely. Ronny Gabel neglected in this fight too often his guard, Knisch found these gaps and could land thus straight goal. If Ronny Gabel further works on his guard, he will be able to leave the ring also than winner, because nice combinations, good Meidbewegungen and also a good eye Gabels were unmistakeable.

In the 2nd fight there was a reunion with Nico Schröder from Furstenwalde. Up to now his fights could be convincing, the box fans were stretched before the fight on his renewed appearance. However, what came then? The opponent Andreas Malion got cracking in the first lap like the fire brigade, he pushed Schröder in the corner kick and hit almost during 1 minute on him. Though Schröder well used the guard, but the tense spectator was still surprised a little bit. The first lap went clearly to Andreas Malion. However, from the 2nd lap there marched Nico Schröder. Now he could put good accents over and over again, over and over again he found the gaps and thereby scored successfully. From lap to lap became Nico Schröder überlegener, even if he felt the fist of the opponent now and again. However, from an expected victory of Schröder became only one draw what was absolutely incomprehensible for me.

The third fight brought together Daniel Zimmermann and Varol Vekiloglu and counted to one of the best fights in this evening. Seldom there was such a good box art to marvel at. The victory went in Varol Vekiloglu and was earned because he was the accurate and boxer more active above all. Nevertheless, Daniel Zimmermann showed a determined fight, made to the desire on more. Daniel must not be ashamed to this defeat, because he hit on a really good opponent. Varol brought, by the way, also a big fan crowd.

After the break there was a show fight in the Muay Thai. Two fighters, both 15 years old, showed the art of the Muay Thai and gave everything. It was a worth seeing insert.

Two ladies, Franka Wiechozek from Furstenwalde and Juliane Koffnit of the box club of Köpenick denied the first fight after the break. Both box channels gave to themselves nothing. The box fans saw a high-class women's box fight of two almost equivalent opponents. Both fighters had her good scenes. In the first lap Franka put the accents, in lap to two Juliane then. In this Franka also had to become angezählt. Up to the end pointed both Mrs. Nehmerqualitäten. Juliane delivered a very good fight, pushed the opponent over and over again in the defensive and at last also won this fight. However, critically I would like to mention the guard of Juliane. The fifth fight was the shortest one of the evening. It lasted just once 28 seconds. The fight was hardly released, there Hellersdorfer Mirko Kern already hit on Fürstenwalder Danny Lehmann. Also in the 6th fight of the evening a Hellersdorfer fancied in the ring. The opponent of Marcel Erler came from the box club of Köpenick and was called Dirk Georgie. As usual Georgi concerned this fight carefully. This often looks comfortable, however, this is the style of the Dirki. The Hellersdorfer Erler hit more, but often in the emptiness. Georgi could make way to these blows mostly and hit the mark himself. Dirk fought again with a lot of overview and rest. Nobody probably doubted the victory of Georgi, even the opponent nodded with the pronouncing of judgement. I personally like the style of Georgi and in this above all the overview mentioned several times.

After the break Lars Buchholz entered against Maurice Kohn in the ring. And I immediately say at the beginning that this was the fight of the evening for me. Lars, you are high-class. One can only hope that you soon have the possibility to box a title. I have seldom seen such a boxer. Lars allows to burn nothing. His big plus is his eye with which he recognises fast the intentions of the opponent, to them can make way or clear them to meet him then independently. Lars controls the couter-attacks like no other boxer. If one thinks that he gets the cap full because he creeps away in the guard, then he strikes dreadfully. Quick as a flash he opens the guard and strikes back, almost excluding goals. But he can also march, several times in the fight he changes his habits, so that the opponent can never appear so properly to him. It simply gives pleasure to watch him. It was a clear victory of book wood against a good Kohn.

The eighth fight brought together the Fürstenwalder matzo Sandow and the inhabitant of Leipzig Frank Pflege. Also this became a short fight which did not go about the full laps. Sandow was to be considered in this fight and care did not seem well prepared, after a liver goal the fight was for the inhabitant of Leipzig to an end. For Sandow it was an easy victory.

The main fight of the evening formed Ramona Kühne and Daniela David. The fight more than six laps was thoroughbred and showed good women's box sport to the box expert. However, Ramona Kühne had quite easy fancied this fight. The unhit daring had to break about the full lap number and above all the fight mind of the opponent. David himself was for me shortly before a surprise. She boxed without fear of daring (8 fights, 8 victories) and hit of the more often, was probably dear more than daring. Till the end therefore Ramona Kühne had to show everything to protect this victory. A nice fight which would have earned rather a draw according to my opinion.

All in all, it was a very successful evening in Köpenick again. Thank you for it to the organizers, the sponsors and the assistants. For me is certain that I am present with the 7th fight Night again.

An improvement suggestion remains to mark: Fans in the VIP area pay a lot for a card or give a well-arranged sum as sponsors. It is not to be expected of this VIP's company that camera team or photographer stand exactly before them in the ring and affect during the whole evening to the VIP's company the view. This should be put down.

Köpenick invited Pankow

Köpenick versus Pankow or box Gym versus box temple, according to the announcement of this box evening.

The 23rd of June, 2007 was announced by both sides largely. No miracle that it pulled more than 1000 box friends in the old radio work. In the hall was from the outset a really mood; over and over again from two ring speakers animates.

It followed in this evening nine really fights which allowed to report quite a lot of box fan about a successful box evening. Everywhere where one listened, many positive statements came to the quality of the fights.

The box temple Pankow went along 1:0 in leadership. In the first fight Steve Kröckel fought against Tomi Colic though excellently, however, the victory of Colic was earned. The judgment in the second fight between Daniel Zimmermann and Varol Vekiloglu provided with the fans for quite a lot of Kopfschüttler, because Daniel Zimmermann would have earned the victory, however, the referee announced a draw.
Then a reunion with Rico Schultz. His opponent Jens Marienfeld was demanded too much from the outset and it was only one matter of time, when this fight is finished. After several knockdowns and the towel from Marien's field corner kick rejoiced Rico Schultz and the box temple now led along to 2:0 victories.

However, then the victory series of the Köpenicker began. After half an hour of break the public darling Sebastian Wille entered the ring. His fight record: To 6 fights, 6 victories, 6 times by KO. The box temple sent an experienced opponent who already boxed against many world champions or European champions. Mario Lupp could already refer to 50 professional fights. His box style is unusual absolutely, almost exclusively he bent his upper part of the body far forwards, or below, so that it was a knee height with the head several times in Willes. It was an open fight, however, the clear goals landed above all Fabrizius which allowed to think me with his style more often sometimes whether I knew a lot in the boxing. It gives pleasure to this boxer to be able to watch. His victory was earned and the balance with the comparison Köpenick versus Pankow anyhow.

In the 6th fight Dirk Georgi entered for Köpenick, Pankow sent Frank Pflegel in the ring. The fight began very much level and Georgi was the a little more active boxer. However, was soon to be recognised that Dirk Georgi was too big for Frank Pflegel a number - was still too big. After a knockdown Pflegel surrendered and Köpenick went along 3:2 in leadership.
Then after an other break another boxer popular with the audience entered in the ring. Daniel Zell demanded Enrico Kniesch. From the outset Daniel Zell allowed to burn nothing, he scored from lap to lap, Kniesch boxed from the defensive, also hit, however, without effect. Zell was over in all four laps only on the advance and built up the town district result 4:2. Köpenick rejoiced!

From the paper the eighth fight was only one formality. Lars Buchholz, only few boxing matches passed (was before Thaiboxer) hit on experienced Mike Wohlert. How would Lars fight against Wohlert? To the surprise of all fans Lars Buchholz dominated this fight, already in lap one Wohlert had to go down for a short time. Gigantic cheering in the old radio work. Lars boxed over and over again with quick hands and above all one saw that, in the meantime, the shoulder position to the boxing was adapted. The boxer holds the shoulder forwards, however, he learnt to hold the shoulder as a Thaiboxer behind. Also in lap two Lars Buchholz positioned himself to the fight and was the better Fighter. Again Mike Wohlert had to go down. What an one surprise for the present box fans. In lap three then, however, From for Mike Wohlert. After an exchange with sometimes a nothing but shout and Wohlert knelt on the ring ground. He had a painful shoulder injury, perhaps, also dislocated. Then he was brought by the orderly under applause of the spectators from the hall.

Lars won therefore this fight and the box Gym carried along in this comparison with 5:2.
Then in the last fight the heavyweights Werner Kreiskott and Enrico Garmendia met. Last called could form this fight masterfully and also win after points.
This entailed that Köpenick Pankow with 5:3 defeated. Who would have thought this?
After the last fight it was invited by the box temple immediately to the revenge. The box Gym Köpenick accepted this invitation with pleasure.

One more word to the sphere. Very positively many fans and the mood. The security controlled everything again really.
In the VIP area one could feel fine again. The food offer was unusual, even if tasty. Rice with fish and a coconut palm soup is unusual absolutely for a box evening and also entailed many negative comments, however, an attempt it was worth absolutely to bring change also sometimes here purely.

5. Fight Night of the box Gym Köpenick on the 12th of May, 2007

To fifth sometimes now the box already invited Gym Köpenick the box fans to a well occupied box evening. For the local matador Sebastian Wille it should become a big and successful evening. However, for quite sports-political reasons the title fight WBC fell out against Haxhi Krasniqi. Sebastian, your chance will come.

Still it became a really good fight evening. Immediately in the first fight Lars Buchholz could prove his qualities once again. His opponent Stefan Lohmeyer had to go with a defeat back to Magdeburg. Remarkably Lars is his overview in the ring. There something grows up what will prepare the box fans still for joy.
Then the 3rd fight was above all something for the male fans. Juliane Koffnitt rose in the ring against the experienced Dutchwoman Danielle Camerling and won this fight masterfully. Nevertheless, it is a feast for the eyes over and over again to see boxing women.
Then after the first break it became in the fourth fight nothing but in the old radio work. In the ring Hendrik Gabel and the Dutch Geert instep were confronted. Many of the box fans asked themselves how fast Hendrik Gabel searches this sometimes the decision. However, nothing was with a quick decision. The courageous Geert instep pocketed a lot, but kept itself courageous. Though Dirk Georgie found over and over again back in the fight, nevertheless, had to pocket from lap to lap heavy goals. Then from the 3rd lap he had hard struck and had a very bleeding cut. Now to many was already clear that this fight did not go about the full lap number. After an other knockdown the referee finished this fight and explained Thomas Hartmann to the winner cheered in the Magdeburg corner kick. This also earns completely.

Then after an other break and a fight rich in blow between Harry Duiven jr and Pavel Siska it came to repeated meeting of Daniel Zell of the box to Gym Köpenick and Magdeburg Kevin Matausch. Both fighters were confronted already once some months ago, at that time more than 4 laps and a draw. However, this went sometimes it around even more. In 12 laps the light weight GBC Intercontinental should become a world champion gekührt. 800 box fans pressed of course local Daniel Zell the thumbs. It had to go which for me, the best fight of the evening become. Daniel Zell never had problems with his opponent, he boxed deliberately, certainly in the guard and used several times quick combinations. Not that of the Magdeburg Matausch was bad, was on the contrary, he already a good opponent, however, Daniel Zell was put to one very well and also had the unconditional victory will. Box evening in Furstenwalde on the 13th of April, 2007

And again I started once more to experience a nice box evening. At the moment one has always the big choice in such evenings, because there is every week-end numerous of these events. For me it went to Furstenwalde, thank you for the box club of Köpenick which invited me.

My first impression was rather good, because the hall came along very well for such an event. Box friends were also present richly. However, my first good impression soon did not exist any more.

The organisation was not so attractive what I cover above all to the Catering. The grill champion was completely demanded too much. He did not manage the Andrang, above all he was never prepared so properly if the box friends besieged the state in the breaks. Many went again hungry to the hall. In the hall there was for all spectators only one state which was always overcrowded, one had to stand in a queue too long to supply himself. I think here a lot of money was given away. Also VIP guests had to supply themselves in these states with some comestibles, because there was area only drinks in the VIP. Whether this has liked the VIP `see, remains unanswered, I look at it as a rather negative appearance.

Now, however, to the sporty part. Unfortunately, I can also not mark here the very positive, sometimes apart from some exceptions. When one experiences a box evening, where everybody! Fights with a TKO end? I never experienced this and above all it also states something about the opposition. For me some fighters looked very much overtaxed, the winners against it had to light game. This did not like a large part of the spectators. Only the point that the home boxers from Furstenwalde were almost completely victorious tuned the audience then again more positively and thus a quite good mood also often arose. For me is to be emphasised Lars Buchholz who passed his first box pro's fight. Lars led the fight very much deliberately, because his opponent Jan Zajak was no windfall and held good against it. Lars Buchholz boxed with eye and grasped thus the gaps to begin lightning actions. One may be curious on other fights. An example of the fights of the evening was the fight between Hendrik Gabel and Enrico Heilig. It lasted only few seconds and Hendrik Gabel won with a TKO. Whether such fights help the winner, I would like to doubt. Thus other fights in the evening, triumphantly for the local boxers, or better the young savages around Rico Schultz, matzo also tramped Sandow, Tom Pudler, Victor Hasselbach and above all Nico Schröder. These called boxers are absolutely all good boxers and one or others will make his way, however, a part of these fighters in this evening could not show this what they are able absolutely of. A drop of bitterness gave it still for the home box audience. Unfortunately, the Franka Wiechozek very much popular by the fans lost her fight and this rightly. From the outset she had to pocket the blows of her opponent from Czechia. She could be already sorry one. It was only one matter of time, when the fight was over. Franka was still celebrated by the fans, even if she still had many tears in the face.

Then the last fight should allow to boil the mood once again. Rene Hübner had brought many fans who whipped him over and over again forwards. From the sheet of paper, it would have had to become unequivocal things. It was not at the end in such a way, now may have two reasons. Either Rene Hübner was not particularly fit in this evening or, however, he wanted to avoid a quick end not to let arrogate what he had for an opponent.

My result briefly. One has missed nothing if one stayed away this evening.
